Your crypto, explained to the people who need to know.
You are buying a house, moving money to a bank, sorting out your tax, dealing with an estate or a separation, or trying to recover something that was taken. Someone is asking for evidence about your wallets, and screenshots will not do. Lucidblock produces the document they need: independent, in plain language, and honest about what it shows.
Where this fits in your work.
Buying a property or moving money to a bank
A source-of-funds report that follows your crypto from the first purchase to the money arriving in your account.
Getting your tax in order
A complete, classified record of a tax year that your accountant can work from, with transfers between your own wallets matched so they are not taxed as sales.
An estate or a separation
A statement of what is held, where and at what value at the date that matters, with proof of control.
Something was taken
A trace of where the funds went and which exchanges now hold them, in a form your solicitor can use.
The reports most relevant to you.
Source-of-funds report
The on-chain trail from first purchase to today, for a solicitor, bank or accountant.
Holdings statement
What a person or company held, where, at a date - with evidence of control and a valuation.
Funds tracing report
Where crypto went after it left a wallet, and where it can be reached: exchanges, services, other wallets.
Crypto client pack
A clean, classified record of a client's crypto activity for a period, ready for their accountant.
The few terms you will meet.
Reports are written for readers who do not work with blockchains every day. These are the only terms you need.
- Wallet
- An account on a blockchain that you control with your own keys, outside any exchange.
- Exchange
- A platform where you bought crypto with money from your bank, such as Coinbase or Kraken. Its statements are the link between your bank and the blockchain.
- On-chain
- Recorded on a public blockchain. Anyone can check it, and it cannot be edited - which is why it makes good evidence.
- Proof of control
- Signing a short message with your wallet, or making a small nominated transfer, to show the wallet is yours. No keys are ever shared with us.
We work for you, and we report what the evidence shows. A report that only said what you wanted would be worth nothing to the person you have to give it to. We never ask for your keys or your exchange login.
